This cast brass pepper mill is one of those items, and is worth every penny.  It is both simple and sturdy.  Beautiful in design and consistent in its function. You can feel the satisfying crunch of the peppercorns as you turn the handle. Pepper is the most traded spice in the world, and adding a bit of freshly ground pepper to a salad or a dish adds something quite miraculous. The design is based on a coffee mill that was used by Greek soldiers in the early 20th century.

Manufactured by a small, family-run company in northern Greece.
