This is the Only ONE syrup - and it's the best. A gift from nature , this dark Canadian maple syrup is tapped later in the season and offers the most intense maple flavour.
This Maple Syrup is hand tapped by local Mennonite neighbours then barrel aged for 4-8 months in freshly dumped whisky barrels ( note, there is no added alcohol). The darker the maple syrup , the higher the antioxidant content.
This compliment of indulgence is perfect as a drizzle on crapes, pancakes , yogurt or ice cream and better still , on baked Brie with walnuts.
A perfect way to add a kick to your cooking, the Syrup is a fantastic ( and healthy) sugar substitute.
Try it in whipped cream or caramelized onions, or a glaze for salmon.
